7 Yoga Asanas These Bollywood Celebs Can Endorse!

Yoga is a remedy for every ailment, they say. It is the one-stop-shop for all our problems. Yoga helps the body, mind and soul to reunite in an attempt to attain spiritual peace. Celebs, after being in the film business often drain themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. Yoga is hence the most-opted resolve by celebs. But ever thought that some celebs are a perfect cut-out to endorse a few yoga asanas? We did. Believe it or not, they are just so made for it!

Celebrities love posing, so needless to say that a few yoga asanas would definitely be something they'd enjoy posing for. Here are 7 Yoga poses that absolutely match the personality of these Bollywood celebs and we totally think they should endorse these poses!

Mithun Chakraborty is born with a Chakra and that’s enough to make this disco dancer the brand ambassador for this asana. Moreover, he can rock and he can roll, he moves like jagger! Despite being long in the tooth, he is still supple, lean and flexible; and now that we do know his khoobsurati ka raaz, all we can say is, kya baat, kya baat, kya baat, Grandmaster!

Taala Asana (Taada Asana)

Amongst the many poses that Baba Ramdev taught the country, this one in particular has become a favorite of Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat. She has been endorsing this pose for quite some time now and it is not because it is a stress reliever, but because it makes her look sexier. We saw her take a Taala asana stance for her film’s poster too. Don’t believe us? Take a look:

Setu Bandha Sarvangasana

B-towners are known for their die-hard rivalries. It is difficult to overlook the subtle, yet in-your-face taunts celebs fling at each other on social platforms. But looks like practicing Setu Bandha Sarvangasana has made the rival Khans extend an olive branch to each other.  This asana, which is known as a rejuvenator has ably pushed out fatigue and irritation stuck in the minds of the Khans!

The Dhanurasana, or the bow pose, involves stretching the limits and pushing hard which is probably what the asana's namesake, Dhanush, should be doing with his career. The actor-singer-producer already has one National Award under his belt, but many feel he is yet to hit his peak. We'd suggest the Dhanurasana to him; after all it'll add flexibility, keep him fit for the long run and stretch his horizons a little. What's in a name, you ask? A lot, apparently.

If there's one man in Bollywood who can never sit straight, it definitely is KRK. Which is why the dandasana is perfect for him, because the staff pose demands a ramrod-straight posture. With most people saying that KRK needs a danda, we act calmly and say that he needs the Dandasana instead. To those who say KRK needs to swallow his pride, we'll let you know that the Dandasana is known to aid digestion too!

Actor-producer-director-screenwriter-playback singer-choreographer-lyricist, Kamal Haasan has been flowering from strength to strength in his career. And well, if he wants to keep blooming past 60, the Kamalasana or the lotus pose, will come in handy. Also, with his next film 'Papanasam' releasing next month and daughters Shruti and Akshara's marriages to think about, Haasan could be having a few sleepless nights, but then Kamalasana helps with insomnia too!
